Content should be brief and get to the point quickly.


  • Use bullets and numbered lists (max 10 items)
  • Use Clear Headlines and Subheads ( don't try to be creative)
  • Use images, diagrams, or multimedia to reenforce content on the page
  • Use White Space (white space makes content easier to read)
  • Complete sentences are not always necessary
  • It's ok to end a sentence with a preposition

  • Eliminate unnecessary words (use half the words you would in normal writing)
  • Avoid Repetition
  • No semi colons
  • Not more than one comma
  • No excessive punctuation
  • Ok to start a sentence with "and", "but", or "or" if it makes things clear and brief
